Prices and currency

All prices are in South African rand. Prices shown to South African customers include VAT at 15%. Prices shown to customers outside South Africa exclude VAT, because export sales are zero-rated. Delivery is charged separately and shown before you pay.

We may correct pricing or specification errors at any time before an order is accepted. If a price is obviously wrong and you have already ordered, we will contact you before dispatch and you may cancel for a full refund rather than pay the corrected price.

Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch, or — for freight-quoted orders — when you accept the freight quote in writing. We may decline an order where stock is unavailable, where a price or description was wrong, or where we cannot lawfully export to the destination.

Stock and availability

Stock figures on this site are updated regularly but are not a guarantee. Where an item sells out between your order and dispatch, we will contact you with a lead time and you may cancel for a full refund.

Ownership and risk

Risk passes to you on delivery, or on collection. Ownership passes only once we have received payment in full.

Export responsibilities

For courier orders, duties and taxes are included in the delivered price. For freight-quoted orders they are set out in the quote we send you. You are responsible for ensuring that the goods may lawfully be imported into your country and for holding any licence or permit your country requires. We cannot ship to destinations subject to sanctions or export restrictions.

Suitability and safety

The equipment we sell is professional tooling. Product information on this site is drawn from RIDGID’s published data and is provided in good faith, but you are responsible for satisfying yourself that a product suits your application, and for operating it in accordance with RIDGID’s instructions and your local safety regulations. If you are unsure which tool fits your job, ask us before you order — we would far rather help you choose than process a return.

Liability

We do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to that, our liability arising out of any order is limited to the amount you paid for the goods concerned, and we are not liable for loss of profit, loss of contracts, downtime or other indirect loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and the courts of South Africa have jurisdiction.

Changes

We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page when you place your order.
