The RIDGID K-1000 is a petrol-powered rodder that drives sectional sewer rods through long, straight runs of larger-diameter pipe. It is built for municipal, institutional and industrial main-line maintenance. This listing is for the machine and its drive accessories; sewer rods and cleaning tools are sold separately.
Key features
- Pushes sectional rods along straight main lines up to 150 m long.
- 6 hp petrol engine with a forward/reverse gearbox; at full throttle the rods turn at 133 rpm in either direction.
- Spring-loaded hand throttle sets the rod speed. When you let go, the engine drops to idle and the clutch disengages.
- Adjustable torque limiter reduces rod kinking and protects the drive train from overload.
- 250 mm wheels on the frame make it easy to move between manholes.
- Compact, rugged frame for daily municipal and plant use.
